Being a student is all about finding your way via trial and error but to give you a little nudge in the right direction, we headed out into Leeds and asked graduates for their top tips.
Degree studied: Politics & Philosophy
Advice: Don’t go to your local shop in pyjamas or a onesie. It’s never ok.
Degree studied: Film & moving image production
Advice: Never have a flat romance, it might seem good at the time but it could get very awkward
Degree studied: PR with marketing
Advice: When wearing leggings to university make sure that the bum isn’t see-through and watch out for the dreaded camel toe. Also, boys should never go out in ugg boots!
Degree Studied: Creative music and sound technology
Advice: Wikipedia is always a credible source!
Degree studied: MA in Global development
Advice: Don’t be that person who leaves post it notes around the flat. If you don’t like what your housemate is doing, then either let them know or live with it.
Degree Studied: English Lit & Creative Writing
Advice: Do a room crawl in your flat. Everyone spends a tenner kitting out their room with a theme and a drinking game, and then you go from room to room for a cheap night out (in). Job done!
