There’s also a vast range of bars and nightclubs to suit every taste and you will love exploring the diverse neighbourhoods like Tribeca, Greenwich Village, Soho, Chinatown and Little Italy. And New York is closer than you think with flight times under eight hours.
Ibiza remains party central, with legendary super-clubs like Pasha and Space still packing them in. But away from San Antonio, popular with a young crowd attracted by its endless choice of clubs and bars, the island has a more sophisticated side with upmarket beachfront cafes, great for people-watching and spotting the occasional star or supermodel.
If you fancy hitting the Spanish mainland instead, Madrid and Barcelona are heavyweights of the party scene with their cool bars offering a distinct Latino flavour and the latter combining those with the theatrical streetlife of Las Ramblas and some superb seafood. But it also boasts some world-class fine dining restaurants, like the double Michelin-starred Ron Blauuw or Ciel Bleu with its stunning views from the 23rd floor of the Okura Hotel, should you wish to push the boat out.
