The Garden Party Leeds has been a staple event in Leeds’ clubbing calendar since 2005. Originally named The Faversham Garden Party (or Fav Garden Party), the brand began life as a collaboration between two of Leeds’ now dormant clubbing brands, Asylum and Technique.
The Garden Party Leeds will next take to The Tetley for a special 10th anniversary August Bank Holiday weekender with Roisin Murphy, Little Dragon, Mos Def, Todd Terje, Kerri Chandler and many more.
Taking place at The Faversham on Bank Holiday Sundays throughout the year, The Garden Party offers the chance to soak up the summer sun whilst listening to some of the greatest electronic music acts from around the world in an almost festival styled terrace party environment. The Faversham is located at the heart of the Leeds University Campus, meaning it is always a buzzing, exciting place to be, however during The Garden Parties the atmosphere is always a special one.
Throughout these unique 3 part trilogies The Fav curates, there is a large marquee assembled on the terrace that during the day is filled with sun, clubbers and great music, as well as the inside rooms also playing host to other big names as well as local clubbing brands such as Butter Side Up, Deep Fever, Jaunt and Mono_Cult. The line-ups that make up each Garden Party of the year consist of nothing but the best in underground house and techno that some festivals would be proud of. In previous years The Garden Party has been hosted by Technique, Asylum and Circoloco however it is now boasted as one of The Faversham’s own in house events. There have been performances at The Garden Party from the likes of Zip, The Martinez Brothers, Matthias Tanzmann, Bicep, John Talabot, Midland, Waze & Odyssey, Todd Terje, Art Department and Miguel Campbell as well as residents from various other Leeds events.
Now in it’s tenth year, The Garden Party will celebrate the occasion with a special two day event across the August Bank Holiday, Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th August 2015.
